Where does the Illinois MBA rank?

Financial Times has ranked the Illinois MBA program 3rd in the Big Ten–and 23rd among US schools.

We've also been named one of the top programs in the nation by several major rankings, including US News & World Report (#35) and Bloomberg BusinessWeek (#40).

In fact, BusinessWeek named the Illinois MBA a top school for return on investment in a recent study that examined the average amount of time it takes to recoup the costs of an MBA education at various institutions around the world. The Illinois MBA was ranked 9th overall, and 3rd among US universities, with an ROI of 3.42 years.

The most recent ranking from The Wall Street Journal named our College of Business one of the top three programs in the country for educating students who are considered top-rated by recruiters. US News rankings also listed the College of Business as one of the top 15 undergraduate programs in the US, with several individual departments in the top 15 as well, including accounting, finance, management, and marketing.

As part of the University of Illinois, the MBA program also benefits from the world-class reputation of the university itself. We've been consistently identified as one of the nation's top 15 public universities. Forbes ranked us #10 in 2013, and US News & World Report ranked us at #13. And for the past five years, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was named one of the top 25 universities in the world by the Academic Ranking of World Universities publication, which is regarded as one of the most influential and widely observed international university ranking systems.

US News & World Report rates the nation's universities and colleges using measures that reflect the quality of students, faculty, and educational resources as well as how well the institution educates its student body.
